Youth-led energy
Young people driving steady work, not one-time activity.
Mirai Society is a youth-led NGO building a national education movement — starting from the ground in Uttarakhand, and growing across India with a model rooted in direct field work, community trust, and consistent presence.
Mirai Society is a youth-led nonprofit built by teachers and young professionals who work directly with children, parents, schools, and communities. We focus on practical support that families can see, trust, and benefit from in everyday learning.
We help children continue learning with dignity, confidence, and continuity by staying close to families, schools, and communities.
We partner with schools to teach children at our learning center — children who cannot attend school regularly can still learn, and sit exams at their school.
We are not built as a distant campaign. We stay close to the everyday realities shaping a child's education.
Young people driving steady work, not one-time activity.
Educators keep the work grounded in real learning needs.
Teachers and professionals help keep community work reliable and practical.
Our work combines educational support, family engagement, and community-level action that can deepen locally and expand over time.
We provide school supplies, learning materials, and on-ground encouragement so children have the tools and motivation they need to continue learning.
We engage parents, teachers, and community members in conversations about school participation, educational continuity, and how local support can change outcomes for children.
Through safe group activities and child-centered support, we help children build confidence, communication skills, and a stronger sense of possibility for their future.
The gap is not only about school admission. Many children also lack the materials, exposure, guidance, and digital access that help them stay connected to learning and understand the wider world.
Mirai Society wants children not only to stay in school, but to grow with confidence, curiosity, and awareness of the changing world around them.
This is the larger shift we want to build: from limited access to future readiness.
In one of our early 2026 field sessions, a child who had been sitting quietly at the edge of the group began answering questions, joining reading activities, and staying engaged once regular encouragement and basic learning materials were in place.
This is the kind of change we see on the ground. The child's marks did not transform overnight, but participation did. With notebooks, volunteer attention, and a space where the child felt noticed, confidence started returning first and regular learning became easier to rebuild from there.
Each story reflects the kind of consistent, community-rooted work that drives real educational progress.
